Job Title:                                             Technical Recruiter

Department:                                        CSD – Madison, Wisconsin

Reports to:                                          CEO

Exempt Level Position:                      Requires 40-50 hours per week; contract to hire or FTE depending on qualifications


Summary

Due to growth we have an opportunity for a Senior Technical Recruiter in our Madison, WI office. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years successful experience in a Technical Recruiting and Candidate Sourcing environment.  Candidates must be results-oriented and capable of working independently. Minimum travel required. Associate degree and/or college degree preferred.

 

Position Responsibilities

·         Recruiting technical professionals, prospecting, sourcing, and placement of qualified professionals in a timely and accurate manner

·         Develop and maintain a deep pipeline of qualified candidates

·         Handle all contract issues and salary negotiations with candidates

·          Identifies and develops new business in current and new customer accounts

·         Manages business development opportunities through networking, cold calling, sourcing and relationship building.

·         Work closely with HR, Finance and Office Staff

·         Support the sales representative/account manager with any final negotiations to close placements

  • Process all necessary paperwork according to established procedures
  • Maintain databases or other forms of tracking relevant information


Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years recent experience in a technical recruiting/ candidate sourcing environment, may require a one to two year associate degree and/or college degree
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills a must
  • Must have excellent organization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to positively influence candidates and clients
  • Knowledge of basic employment law
  • Strong phone skills are also a requirement to succeed in this environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to take initiative, be flexible and work independently
