Health, Vision and Dental Benefits
We offer Madison area employees the choice of either the HMO or the Point of Service Plan through Physicians Plus Insurance. Milwaukee and out-of-area employees have the opportunity to participate in the Physicians Plus Meriter Plan. AE offers comprehensive vision coverage through Eye Med. AE also offers dental coverage through Delta Dental, which is one of the nation’s most well established and generous dental benefit plans.
Section 125 Plan
Our Flexible Spending Plan is administered through the ADP Corporation, which takes advantage of Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Flex account allows employees to set aside pre-tax money from each paycheck which can be used to reimburse specified insurance, medical and daycare expenses throughout the year.
Life, AD&D, Short and Long-term Disability and Voluntary Life Insurance
AE sponsors life, accidental death and dismemberment, and long-term disability insurance policies for all eligible employees. We also offer the opportunity for employees to obtain additional protection by purchasing short term disability insurance, supplemental group life, or accidental death and dismemberment insurance for themselves and their families at group rates.
401(k) Savings Plan
Our 401(k) Savings Plan is a valuable benefit program which offers employees a means of putting money aside through wage deductions for a financially secure retirement.
Training & Development
AE’s educational assistance program encourages full time, long term employees to further their personal development through formal education. We also provide assistance to individuals who take outside courses or seminars leading towards a degree, certification, or professional license.
Web Based Training
AE pays for eligible employees to have annual membership to a web based training system. Courses topics include business and professional development, computer skills for end users, and specialized technical training for IT professionals.
