Position Summary:

The Storage LOB Manager is a critical function for AE Business Solutions success.  Some of the key responsibilities will be to provide pre-sales support, help determine product and service offerings, develop, and execute a Go-To-Market strategy to ensure quota attainment for products and services offered by the Storage Practice. This person will analyze the current market within the Storage industry to ensure AE is an industry leader in its product and service offerings. They will also ensure that AE is viewed as an innovative leader in this market space. The Storage LOB Manager will engage with the AE Sales force, project consultants, clients and vendors to meet the goals of the Storage LOB. This person will work closely with Consulting Service Division’s (CSD) to ensure they meet there overall business goals.

 

 

Defined Job Responsibilities

  • Quota Attainment for products and services assigned to LOB
  • Provide  pre and post sales expertise to all AE resources for assigned products and services
  • Initiate business development and prospecting activities to create and maintain pipeline in support of assigned quota
  • Assist AE Account Executives in building Storage Solution Account Strategies to develop awareness of offerings and close business
  • Demonstrate superior facilitation and leadership capabilities in sales engagements
  • Assist Account Executives with solution validation, proposal generation and quoting
  • Engage with the AE Sales force, project consultants, clients and partners to meet the goals of the Storage LOB.
  • Develop and maintain a LOB Business Plan which will include but not be limited to:
    • Outlining strategic customers and prospects for the year alone with sales plans for each
    • Have target customer and prospect list per quarter alone with sales plans for each
    • Outline specific activities and initiatives that will be utilized to grow Storage Solutions revenues
    • Develop and execute a Go-To-Market strategy. 
      • Help determine product and professional services solution offerings
      • Define professional service offerings as in assements, repeatable value added services, and delivery services 
      • Assist in the creation of a marketing demand generation program for each month and quarter that rolls into a yearly plan.  This plan should be inline with the marketing requirements of the manufactures in your LOB.  Responsible for successful execution of this plan
      • This will also include the accountability to develop and manage a 12, 24 and up to a 36-month product and service strategy and vision.
  • Work directly with the AE Partner Manager in managing Vendor relationships
  • Host and promote vendor events
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and presentation skills at all times
  • Support and provide leadership to all AE SE’s and Core consultants
  • Responsible to ensure that proposed solutions when implemented meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer
  • Able to assist sales team to gather an understanding of vendor product offerings, programs, deal registrations, promotions and pricing and vendor strategies
  • Develop deep understanding of all AEBS offerings to be able to cross sell
  • Attend industry networking functions, forums, tradeshows, and events as required
  • Completion of required vendor certification training by assigned date
  • Demonstrate good time management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks consistently
  • Ability to address customers, AEBS staff and vendor requests in a timely manner
