Storage Optimization

Overview

Storage Optimization Services from AE Business Solutions give you the key information you need to understand how your storage operation is performing, where resources are currently available, how they are being used and where you need to react. Having the right data allows you to focus investments on areas where there is a real need, helping you to allocate your limited IT budget carefully.

Based upon your organization’s requirements, AE Business Solutions offers two levels of Storage optimization – Standard and Enterprise Optimization Services. The details of each offering are outlined below.

Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)

In addition to performance and utilization information, the Storage Optimization Service  provides you with an analysis of your data based on data type and aging patterns. This allows you to take the first steps toward implementation of an information lifecycle management (ILM) strategy.

Information lifecycle management reduces overall storage cost by aligning data value with storage infrastructure costs. The ILM strategy can be applied to existing infrastructures to accommodate data growth and respond to tighter budgetary controls.
