Managed Backup Services

AE Business Solutions' Managed Backup Services provides comprehensive day-to-day operational management, support and monitoring of clients' CommVault and Hitachi HDPS Backup and Recovery environment under ITIL best practices and customer-established SLAs.

  • Complete day-to-day operation and support of the backup environment includes, but is not limited to:
  • Running daily, weekly, monthly and annual backup jobs
  • Adding and removing physical and virtual clients to the backup configuration
  • Installing backup agents on new physical and virtual machines as needed
  • Monitoring job completion and troubleshooting failed backup jobs
  • Managing data copies and retention
  • Monitoring the overall health and performance of the backup environment through reports, dashboards, logs and alerts
  • Processing restore requests
  • Capacity planning for backup licensing and backup storage
  • Installation of service packs, hotfixes and security patches required to continue the successful backup and restoration of client data

Managed Archive, Search and E-Discovery Series 

AE's Managed Archive, Search and E-Discovery Services provides comprehensive day-to-day operational management, support and monitoring of clients' CommVault, Hitachi HDPS and Hitachi HCP Archive and search environment under ITIL best practices and customer established SLAs.

  • Complete day-to-day operation and support of the archive, search and e-discovery environment includes, but is not limited to:
  • Running archive and index jobs
  • Adding and removing physical and virtual clients to the archive and search configuration
  • Installing archive agents on new physical and virtual machines as needed
  • Monitoring job completion and troubleshooting failed archive and index jobs
  • Managing archive data copies and retention
  • Monitoring the overall health and performance of the archive environment through reports, dashboards, logs and alerts
  • Perform optimization tasks on the content indexes
  • Capacity planning for archive licensing and archive storage
  • Installation of service packs, hotfixes and security patches required to continue the successful archive and index of client data

Managed Storage Infrastructure 

  • Complete day-to-day operation and support of your storage environment includes, but is not limited to:
  • Adding or modifying hosts, host groups, pools/RAID groups, volumes
  • Processing storage requests
  • Install storage agents/software on new physical and virtual machines as needed
  • Storage network zone configuration
  • Monitoring storage performance (SLO), availability, tasks, replication and migrations
  • Capacity planning for storage and licensing
  • Installation of hotfixes or security patches required to continue the successful operation of the client's storage environment
  • Upgrade of storage software
  • Troubleshooting performance, availability, connectivity and replication
  • Reporting
