John isn’t just responsible for the solutions we provide to our clients and how we deliver them, he’s committed to developing AE’s talent. As a “backroom nerd” mentored in the art of empathy, John always seeks to build bridges between technology and humanity. Following years in the trenches of dial-up tech-support and enterprise architecture, John has gone on to help build better systems, products, and – most importantly – better people. Forever a student of the universe, John asserts that he never let school get in the way of his education. In his free time, he is an instructor and practitioner of Krav Maga, an Israeli martial art; since 2006, John has had the privilege of meeting and training with civilians, law enforcement, and military personnel from all around the world. Speaking about AE, John says his favorite part of the company culture is, “the kindness with which we treat one another… This base kindness, when combined with the solutes of integrity and competence, is unique.” He jokes that only the Care Bears could rival the AE team’s genuine concern for one another.

In addition to directing marketing strategy and campaigns, Morgan oversees the marketing and vendor relations branches of AE Business Solutions. After earning two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, she worked in the data software and economic development spheres before landing a role managing social media for Fortune 500 brands. Morgan enjoys reading and spends her free time traveling to new places in the company of her husband and cat. Her favorite thing about AE is being a part of a team that truly supports one another and takes the time to invest in its community.

LQ oversees our Data Intelligence and Project Management teams. He also manages all of our Professional Service offerings across the organization. LQ holds Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy of Religion, along with a Master’s degree in Software Engineering – all of which he earned while serving as the Vice President of the Honor Society at his university. After college, he spent five years working as an engineer and product manager for a startup that developed a software suite of investment trading tools. He then worked for several years as a project manager at various technology companies before landing a similar role with AE and subsequently rising to his current position. Outside of the office, LQ is an avid trail and ultra-distance runner. When he’s not running, he spends most of his time reading, writing, learning, gardening, backpacking, cooking, traveling, and working out. LQ believes that AE’s sense of accountability, comradery, collaboration, and thriving company culture is what really sets it apart.

Joe brings 20 years of operations experience to the AE team, previously serving as Vice President of Consumer Electronics at a large retail company. Responsibilities in his previous roles have spanned modeling and assessing market conditions for the introduction of emerging technologies, developing market strategies, delivering educational presentations, and conducting quarterly sales training seminars. A world traveler who has set foot on every continent except Antarctica, Joe spends his free time studying astronomy and physics – which often involves stargazing with his Meade 8” telescope. His other passions include a deep interest in military aviation and outdoor activities like road and gravel bike races, advanced scuba diving, downhill skiing, high-performance snowmobiling, and running his offshore powerboat. Joe has yet to find a company that lives its values as clearly as AE does and believes that the company’s Technical Solutions teams are the best in the nation.

Riley brings a wealth of account management experience to the team. He believes that our commitment to our clients is what sets AE apart from others in our industry. Riley’s bachelor's degree in biology shines through in his passions and free time. He frequently spends time outdoors with his family, doing things like hiking, boating, biking, hunting, and exploring.

While her main responsibilities include managing and overseeing AE’s finances and daily operations, Amy also takes it upon herself to make sure everyone has as much fun as possible at work. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an associate’s degree in legal management, and a CPA. Working at an autism clinic doing billing and accounting helped Amy fall in love with the way local, Wisconsin-based companies run – it’s part of what drew her to AE, where she has stayed for the last 16 years. Amy has seen Jimmy Buffett live over 20 times; unsurprisingly, she loves summertime, the beach, attending concerts, as well as being a mom to her boys. Amy’s favorite thing about AE is the people she gets to work with because they make her job so much fun.

Carrie brings more than 30 years of sales, operations, and service delivery experience to the AE Team. She returned to school when her youngest was in college and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management at Concordia University. In her spare time, Carrie likes to scrapbook, read, travel, do home improvement projects and spend time with family and friends. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Carrie appreciates AE’s Midwest values particularly when it comes to how we engage locally with honesty and integrity.

Sue oversees five Account Coordinators and spends her time troubleshooting issues, working with distributors, providing sales and solutions support, and tracking invoicing. Prior to landing at AE, Sue spent years in the industries of banking and retail. As someone who values family deeply, Sue spends most of her free time with loved ones, but she also enjoys time outdoors while gardening, reading, or listening to music. Sue’s favorite thing about the team at AE is that we consistently work together to do the right thing.

Amanda is responsible for supporting the people, culture, and mission of AE. After majoring in marketing, she obtained a Professional in HR certification upon discovering her love for the people side of the business. Amanda enjoys bringing her passions for both marketing and people to her role at AE, stating that our company culture of warmth and collaboration is her favorite part of the job. When she’s not in the office or at the hockey rink cheering on her sons, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and visiting Disney World.

John leads the go-to-market strategy and vendor alignment for AE Security, drawing upon his 20+ years of experience leading network and security teams. He holds bachelor’s degrees in electrical & computer engineering as well as computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a plethora of technical certifications. John believes that AE’s “work hard, play hard” culture and use of cutting-edge technology are what elevate us as a company.

Justin leads the Infrastructure practice setting the vision, roadmap, and strategy with the team while architecting and implementing solutions for AE’s customers. Starting with his degree in Computer Science, his 20+ year career has included designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that power some of the most demanding and widely used applications in the world. Justin lives by AE’s mantra of “Client-first Mentality, Always” and believes that is one of AE’s biggest strengths. In his free time you can find Justin with his wife at his second job chauffeuring their 4 kids between sports and extracurriculars, traveling, or cheering on whichever Wisconsin sports team is in season.

Dan spends his time at AE architecting and implementing modern cloud, networking, and security solutions for our clients. With over ten years of experience in mid-market and enterprise infrastructure and security, he serves as an invaluable resource to our team. Outside of work, Dan enjoys woodworking and off-roading in his Jeep.

Corey brings 18 years of experience in recruitment to his role at AE, which involves overseeing the operations and business development of AE’s Talent Acquisition CoE. Corey is proud to have had the privilege to help hundreds of people establish and advance their careers within the field of IT, and has often served as a go-to resource for talent recruitment and retention strategies throughout his career. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. When he’s not painting nails or having lightsaber fights, Corey enjoys working on his classic Volkswagen Beetle, playing guitar, honing his juggling skills, and catching live music around Madison.
